Sayings…
· ”Buzz on over”
· “Sophie’s 1st Bee Day Party”
· “The queen requests you join her for a bee day celebration”

Decorations:
Yellow and Black EVERYTHING
Picture time - Get a yellow sheet and make a stamp out of a cardboard box (in the shape of a hexagon). Use black paint and stamp the shape throughout the sheet. Use this to cover sofas OR as a backdrop for party pictures!
Bright flowers made large enough to give the feeling that the party-goers are tiny bees buzzing about
Favors:
Honey flavored candy. Yellow and black jelly beans filled in a jar with a tag around the top. Antennas, wings and other bee items.
Games/Activities:
Who I Bee? Charades. Give a list of characters that fly…Buzz Lightyear, Princess Adda, Scuttle, Iago, Donald Duck, Mighty Mouse, Tweety Bird
What’s the Buzz? Pop Culture trivia game. Divide party guests into two teams and derive a list of questions from today’s top news stories. Either have these on a piece of paper where teams can write down the answers or have them go head-to-head and shout out the answers.
I’m the Queen, that’s why!!! Let the bday child be the boss!!!
o Have buckets filled with common everyday items…one per team and each bucket must have the same items in them
o Queen Bee gets to sit on her throne and shout out the name of an item that is located in the bucket.
o Teams frantically dig through the bucket of items (think workerbees) until they find that item…they then run (or crawl, or gallop or “fly”) up to the queen. First team to hand her the item gets a point.
