In addition to glue and newspaper spread on the table (to catch the mess)…
Candy Cane– white paper in the shape of a candy cane, red paint, popsicle sticks or paint brush to dribble the red paint onto the white paper.
Green Party - make your party GREEN!
Make your own paper – Sponge, Construction Paper (or newspaper or napkins or any other kind of paper), Window Screening, Old Picture Frame, Large basin (must be able to fit the picture frame inside), Blender, White Felt piece, Staple gun
Pot of Gold– black construction paper cut into the shape of a cauldron. Yellow construction paper cut into small circles (coins). Streamers or string in a variety of colors.
Rainbow Hat – Green construction paper cut into the shape of a hat. Black construction paper cut in a 1” strip. Streamers or string in a variety of colors. Cutout of a clover (optional).
Scarecrow Craft – paper plate, tan paint. A variety of paper in different colors and textures cut into small circles. Brown construction paper cut into the shape of a hat. Cutout of a crow (optional). Markers.
Skeleton Man – q-tips, orange construction paper, white drawing of a skeleton head
Turtle Plate Craft – paper plate, green and brown paint. Green construction paper cut into the shapes of a head, two arms, two legs and a tail. Black marker. Have children finger paint the shell and when it dries, they glue the appendages onto the bottom of the plate.
Winter Wonderland– Blue construction paper, white washable paint, snow man cut out, black marker, cookie cutters in the shapes of stars, circles, etc.
Hawaiian Lei Making- great for a luau! Colored cardstock, scissors, straws, string (yarn.)
Tiki Mask - White Cardstock, markers, stretchy string, scissors
