Invitations
HANDMADE MICKEY INVITE: Here is an example of a inviation that was made for my son's 2nd birthday party. It was very easy to do, just cut out mouse ears from black paper using this template. Print out the wording from your computer and cut out. Glue them both on red paper and add some glitter, stickers or anything else you can find!

Favors
GOODIE BAGS: Your local dollar store or party store has TONS of Disney© items to fill goodie bags. They also have Mickey and Friends helium balloons for each guest.
PHOTO'S WITH A CHARACTER: Take picture of each child with the character you bring in to entertain. Before the end of the party, print these out on your computer or printer. The kids have instant memories of this fantastic party! You may also find inexpensive frames to put the photo's in.

Decorations
- use lots of primary colors for the streamers, balloons, table cloths, etc.
CHARACTER LUNCH: instead of hiring entertainment, rent a Disney costume! Have your favorite uncle, grandparent or friend play that character. You can have "lunch with Mickey" on your inviation. It's a great, inexpensive way for entertainment! Costumes are available for rent at your local party store or online.
Crafts
MOUSE EARS: Supplies needed: headband, glue, black foam, black/brown pipecleaners, scissors.
- The kids cut circles from the black foam and you can help them attach them to the headband using the pipecleaners and glue.
- For the girls, you can also buy bows and attach them to the headbands between the ears.
OREO© Mice: Supplies needed: Chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo's©, chocolate icing, candy pieces (such as M & M's©.)
- Each child gets 2 cookies, on is the face and the other gets cut in 1/2 (they are the ears.)
- The children can ice the cookies and put the "mouse" face together.
- The candy pieces become the eyes.
Games
MICKEY MOUSE© PLAYHOUSE: Create a tent in your playroom, or just put up some sheets in your family room that give the "tent effect." Pile all your child's toys in there along with hanging some twinkle lights and Voila - Mickey's Playhouse! MEESKA MOOSKA MICKEY MOUSE...
DISCO WITH DONALD: You can get lots of Disney© music at your local library or find it online to download to your i-pod. The kids can freeze dance for prizes (when the music stops, the have to FREEZE! The last one standing gets a prize.)
MUSICAL MOUSE EARS: Cut out Mouse Ears from different colors of construction paper. Place these all around your living room or yard. The kids have to walk around dancing while you play the music. When you stop the music, each child has to find a pair of "Ears" to stand on. The person who doesn't make it to the "Ears" is out. It's played just like musical chairs.
